PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjustment supporting device and a position adjusting device and method for a long heavy object for aligning the long heavy objects easily. SOLUTION: This position adjustment supporting device 40 is used to adjust a position of the long heavy object and is arranged below the long heavy object. This position adjustment supporting device 40 is provided with an actuator body 54 extending and contracting in the vertical direction to lift the long heavy object and a spherical body contact bearing 62 provided on a lower face of the actuator body 54 to move the lifted long heavy object in the horizontal direction.
