PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying device capable of conveying paper while sucking it without separately providing a drive source for sucking. SOLUTION: The paper conveying device 1 has an endless belt 11 having an air suction hole H; a roller 12 tensionedly supporting the endless belt 11 and rotating it; a rotation drive part 13 for rotating the roller 12; a box body 10 for retaining the roller 12 such that the endless belt 11 can be rotated; and a suction member 14 for pressure-reducing the inside of the box body 10. The paper conveying device 1 conveys the paper P by the endless belt 11 while sucking air from the air suction hole H by the suction member 14.
