PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential restricting controller for a vehicle, capable of suitably controlling driving force distribution between front and rear wheels on the basis of an index directly indicating a turning state of a vehicle, and materializing good steering property regardless of the turning state of the vehicle. SOLUTION: It is specified which of front and rear wheels 4, 15 is a slip wheel exceeding a grip limit on the basis of the steering property of the vehicle. Supposing a friction circle FFR estimated from driving force FX and lateral force FCF of the slip wheel, demanding lateral force FCFTT and driving force lowering amount FXT of the slip wheel for suppressing under steering or over steering is obtained. The driving force distribution of the front and rear wheels is controlled on the basis of yaw rate corresponding control amount Ty calculated from those values as driving force distribution.
