PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the quality of an image of an inkjet printing device stabilized by making the tone of the image on a printing sheet regular even if the kind or width of the printing sheet is changed. SOLUTION: By a head control means, the scanning speed of a printhead and the discharge of ink are controlled (In 1, In 3) so that, according to the ink absorbency of the printing sheet, the lower the absorbency is, the larger the interval of discharging the ink between the previous scanning of the printhead and the next scanning may become, while the scanning speed of the printhead and the ink discharge are controlled (In 1, In 2) so that, according to the width of the interval of discharging, the ink the narrower the width is, the larger the interval of discharging the ink may become.
