Disclosed is a conjugated diene rubber which enables to obtain a vulcanized rubber excellent in wear resistance, low heat generation property and the like. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a conjugated diene rubber, a rubber composition for tires containing such a conjugated diene rubber, and a tire. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a conjugated diene rubber wherein a compound represented by the formula (I) below is added, as a coupling agent, into a solution of a polymer having an active terminal for causing a reaction with the polymer. This polymer having an active terminal is obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing conjugated diene monomers and the like in an inert solvent by using an organic active metal as an initiator.
