<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply perform work with a reduced number of parts when supporting a cam shaft with a split type roller bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The split type roller bearing device 2 for the cam shaft is equipped with the split type roller bearing 3 disposed on an outer periphery of the cam shaft 1, and a cam cap 5 attaching and fixing the roller bering 3 between a housing 4 and it. The split type roller bearing 3 is provided with a partial outer ring 8 constituting a part in the peripheral direction of an outside diameter side raceway surface of a roller 6, and the partial outer ring 8 is fixed in an arc recession of the cam cap 5 by integral molding with the resin cam cap 5.
