<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag ground fabric, and its manufacturing method capable of ensuring the airtightness of parts with stress concentration such as a double bag woven part, a single woven part and a joined part, and the heat resistance/airtightness of an inflator gas introduction unit, reducing the coating amount, and reducing the size and the cost of an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag ground fabric comprises a double bag woven part 1 consisting of fabrics 1a, 1b which is inflated when an airbag is operated, a single woven part 2 consisting of a fabric, and a joined part 3 which is formed on a boundary part between the double bag woven part 1 and the single woven part 2, and consists of a fabric not to be inflated when the airbag is operated. The double bag woven part 1, the single woven part 2 and the joined part 3 consist of fabric structures different from each other, and a part of or several parts of the double bag woven part 1, the single woven part 2 and the joined part 3 of the airbag ground cloth are partially thick-coated with a coating resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
