PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermeticity checking method for checking the hermeticity of a filled space filled with a fed liquid, a liquid feeder with its hermeticity checked by this checking method, and a measuring instrument equipped with this liquid feeder. SOLUTION: A closed space R1 is made up so as to include the interior of a nozzle 24A, the interior of a pipet tip CPA, a liquid flow path 45, the interior of a nozzle 24B and the interior of a pipet tip CPB. The closed space R1 comprises a seal portion SL1 by means of an O-ring 23 between the pipet tip CPA and the nozzle 24A, and a seal portion SL3 by means of an O-ring 23 between the pipet tip CPB and the nozzle 24B. The closed space R1, further, comprises a seal portion SL2 between an end of the pipet tip CPA and a supply port 45A of a flow path member 44, and a seal portion SL4 between an end of the pipet tip CPB and a discharge port 45B of the path member 44.
