PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect the work data with respect to the relation among a plurality of operating loading and unloading instruments easily and quickly without increasing burden on an operator for the instruments. SOLUTION: This work data collection device for controlling loading and unloading work performed between a transportation means for transporting an object to be transported and a loading means for loading the object to be transported on the transportation means has a transmission means 1 attached to a transportation means side to transmit at least a distinguishing signal of the transportation means to a part within a predetermined scope of distance and a reading means 2 attached to a loading means side to store at least the contents of the distinguishing signal and time data during reception of the distinguishing signal when receiving the distinguishing signal transmitted from the transmission means.
