PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality alarming and monitoring system, equipped with function which prevents accident due to a wrong alarm, where the system distinguishes alarm due to genuine abnormality of equipment to be monitored from a wrong alarm due to the abnormality caused by maintenance work, without blocking the communication route of alarm signal, even during maintenance work. SOLUTION: The abnormality alarming and monitoring system is provided with a maintenance alarming device 7 having: a maintenance information-input means 5 which inputs maintenance information to an abnormality alarming and monitoring system comprising an abnormality-alarming device 2, which monitors abnormality of equipment 1 to be monitored and transmits an alarm signal, when abnormality occurs in the equipment 1 to be monitored and a communication server 4 which receives the alarm signal transmitted from the abnormality-alarming device 2 and transmits it to a monitoring device 3, when maintenance is carried out on the equipment 1 to be monitored; and a maintenance information-transmit means 6 which transmits the inputted maintenance information. The maintenance information transmitted from the maintenance alarming device 7 is transmitted to the monitoring device 3, so that an alarm due to the abnormality of the equipment 1 to be monitored is distinguished from a wrong alarm due to abnormality caused by maintenance work.
