PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road situation information provision system capable of providing road situation information to a vehicle during traveling on a road. SOLUTION: This road situation information provision system has: a vehicle information reception means receiving information showing a vehicle state from the vehicle inside a communication area of a base station and position information of the vehicle from the base station; a map database storing road map information; an information composition means composing the road map information stored in the map database, the position information of the vehicle, and the information showing the state of the vehicle received by the vehicle information reception means to generate the road situation information; and an information distribution means distributing the road situation information to the vehicle inside the communication area through the base station.
