PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for effectively utilizing a home security system individually introduced to each house and a network connecting each home security system and a management center. SOLUTION: The home security system 20 introduced to each house 10 is connected through the network 5 to the management center 31. Each system 20 is provided with a main controller 21 and a sub controller 22. The respective controllers 21 and 22 are provided with a microphone and an operation part, and voice input from the microphone or a character message input from the operation part is transmitted through the network 5 to the system 20 of other house 10. In the system 20 which receives the voice or the character message, a voice message is reproduced from a speaker provided in the controllers 21 and 22, or the character message is displayed at a display part.
