PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm that can sufficiently meet a resident's preference by holding a pull cord not stored in a casing but detachably hooked on a lock part parallel to a push button operation part exposed to an opening in an inclined face of a cover. SOLUTION: The pull cord is not passed in the fire alarm, so that no storage space is necessary for the pull cord in the fire alarm.
