PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating joint device capable of coping with a high load, and capable of reducing a diameter. SOLUTION: The floating joint device wherein the other joint side member is fitted to a moved body side in such a manner of capable of absorbing eccentricity and the angle of deviation is provided with a communication member 10 locked by a moved body side member 33 of the moved body, a flange joint member 2 fastened by and integrated with the communication member, and the other joint side member 23 fitted to the flange joint member 2 through a clearance in such a manner of capable of absorbing the eccentricity and the angle of deviation and having the other end fastened by the other joint side body 22. Communication with the moved body side member can be achieved without causing the enlargement of a diameter of the flange joint member, and the reduction of the diameter of the whole of the device can be achieved. Further, a buffer material 6 is interposed between the joint side member 23 and the flange joint member 2, and thereby, it is possible to cope with the high compressive load.
