<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a system for providing information of the electronic apparatus, capable of providing accurate information associated with the components to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The system acquires component information from the electronic apparatus, acquires the names of the components and a newest version of each component, on the basis of information denoting names of components, information denoting the newest version of each component, and component associated information with respect to components; extracts the names of components whose version is not newest, by comparing the newest version with a version acquired from the electronic apparatus for each component; and transmits the extracted component names and update component information, including the component associated information corresponding to the component names to the electronic apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
