PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for testing in which occurrence of cracks in a base housing 7 due to prizing and drawing out of a base connector mounted on a printed wiring board can be prevented effectively, and in which inserting/drawing out work of a base connector can be carried out easily and rapidly. SOLUTION: In the base connector 1 mounted on the printed wiring board 10, a plurality of pin contacts 7 are arranged in parallel to the fitting direction in a base housing 2 having a space part 4 in which an aperture 3 is formed in the front side where a socket connector 31 is fitted. In the socket connector 31 for testing, a plurality of socket contacts 26 connected to end parts of a plurality of electric wires 25 are individually and separately housed in the socket housing 32, that is inserted through the aperture 3 and fitted to the space part 4, and a stopper part piece 34 is projected and installed at the front end part 33 of the socket housing 32. When the socket housing 32 is fitted to the space part 4 of the base housing 2, the stopper part piece 34 is connected to the innermost wall face in the space part 4, so that a fitting length of the socket housing 32 to the base housing 2 is regulated short.
