PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golden colored ornamental component having high hardness and high damage resistance without any damage caused by an impact, and high corrosion resistance without any corrosion. SOLUTION: A nitride layer consisting of at least one kind of metal out of Hf, Ti and Zr is alternately and repeatedly layered as a base layer on a surface of an ornamental component such as a watch exterior parts, a pierced earring, an earring, a ring, a spectacle frame, a pendant, a necklace, a bracelet, and a broach consisting of a flexible base material such as Ti and Ti alloy, brass and stainless steel. In addition, a hardened layer of a multi-layered structure with a nitride layer consisting of at least one kind of metal out of Hf, Ti and Zr and an Au alloy layer is deposited on the base layer as a finishing layer. Thus obtained golden-tone ornamental component has high hardness and high damage resistance without any damage caused by an impact, and high corrosion resistance without any corrosion.
