PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide setting device which can reset second hand of clock to zero during manual control element is in time setting position, however, the second hand may be reset to zero only when user desires so. SOLUTION: This setting device for watches comprises a second indicator element (1), at least one of other time indicator element, as well as first manual control element (2) which occupies both neutral position and setting position of the other time indicator element and a mechanism (3) connected with the first manual control element (2) to reset the second indicator element (1) to zero. The reset mechanism (3) includes second manual control element (6), designed so that it may operate the second manual control element (6) to reset the second indicator element (1) to zero when the first manual control element (2) is in setting position of the other time indicator element, without affecting the second indicator element (1) when the first manual control element (2) is in neutral position.
