PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical apparatus capable of being stably operated for a long period of time even when a storage battery is used as a main power source, and electronic equipment provided with such an electro-optical apparatus. SOLUTION: The electro-optical apparatus and the electronic equipment provided with a drive element fed with electric power from an external main power source and operated are provided with an auxiliary power source for feeding the electric power relative to at least the drive element. The auxiliary power source is an energy conversion means for converting vibration energy to electric energy. Further, when a voltage value applied from the main power source becomes a predetermined value or less, the electric power is fed from the auxiliary power source to the drive element.
