PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for hair preventing careless adhesion of cosmetic on the scalp and stabilizing the application amount to the hair. SOLUTION: This applicator has a retaining hole at the end of a shaft tube 2 storing liquid cosmetic for the hair and retains an application member 1 in the retaining hole; the application member 1 is integrally molded to cover the side face of a cosmetic permeable member 11 with a cosmetic impermeable member 12; the end face of the cosmetic permeable member 11 is positioned inward from the end face of the cosmetic impermeable member 12; and the end of the cosmetic impermeable member 12 is formed into a comb-tooth shape. The application member is integrally molded for being positioned rearward from the ends of the comb teeth so as to dispense with a separate installation of a retaining tube having a cap with comb-like teeth and a guide piece, appropriately apply the cosmetic to the hair and prevent the careless adhesion of the cosmetic to the scalp.
