IMPROVED LIFT

A lift for lifting a reduced mobility user into a vehicle is described. The lift comprises lifting apparatus adapted to be mounted at or adjacent an entrance of a vehicle, the entrance being suitable for use by an able bodied user and a substantially horizontal platform coupled to the lifting apparatus. The lifting apparatus is adapted to move the platform, in use, through the entrance between a first position, external of the vehicle, and a second, elevated, position within the vehicle.
