<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing bamboo activated carbon having comparatively uniform micropores easily at a low cost without being affected by elements, components, compositions such as minerals varied by growing districts, kinds, growth processes or the like of bamboo. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing bamboo activated carbon comprises the steps of: carbonizing bamboo to obtain a bamboo-carbonized material; washing the bamboo-carbonized material to remove potassium by 20-100 wt.% of the whole potassium contained in the bamboo-carbonized material and obtain a potassium-adjusted bamboo-carbonized material; and activating the potassium-adjusted bamboo-carbonized material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
