<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensively manufacturable and highly reliable exhaust emission control device, by simplifying an installation structure. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of a diesel engine has a first DPF 36 of collecting and processing particulate matter included in exhaust gas of the diesel engine and a bypass passage 37 juxtaposed with the first DPF 36, and is constituted so that the first DPF 36 has a pressure loss of making much of the exhaust gas flow to the first DPF 36 in a low load of the engine, and making much of the exhaust gas flow to the bypass passage 37 in a high load of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
