<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of accurately recording a field image that includes a face image. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic camera 10, an image sensor 14 has an imaging plane 14f for capturing a field. When a shutter button 28s is half depressed, a CPU 24 adjusts the imaging conditions, and in response to full pressing performed after half depressing, a field image captured by the imaging plane 14f is recorded on a recording medium 46. Furthermore, when determined conditions are satisfied, the field image captured by the imaging plane 14f is recorded on the recording medium 46, without waiting full pressing. In such a case, the determined condition is a logical product of plural conditions. The plurality of conditions include an operation condition that half depressing is under execution, and an image condition that the facial image of a human figure belongs to a determined area of the imaging plane 14f. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
