PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas stove in which a flame port of a burner portion and a trivet portion can be easily lifted and lowered, a flat stove top surface is reliably obtained to provide convenience in use, the weight of an object to be heated can be steadily supported at the trivet portion to secure safety, and a space for a lifting/lowering mechanism can be kept minimum, and which can be easily introduced. SOLUTION: The flame port 32 of the burner portion 30, and the trivet portion 50 can be integrally lifted and lowered, when a gas stove is not in use, the flame port and the trivet portion are positioned lower than a stove top surface 11, and when it is in use, a support member of the trivet portion 50 lifted to an upper side of the top surface 11 is further expanded to a surrounding area to enable the object to be heated to be placed on it. As only one opening 12 is formed on the stove top surface 11, the stove top surface 11 can be kept neat, and easily cleaned, when the stove is not in use. Further it is unnecessary to separately remove the trivet portion, and the trivet portion 50 can be handled integrally with the burner portion 30, when the stove is not in use, which improves the usability.
