PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing regulator to improve the control performance for the valve timing of a suction valve or an exhaust valve by controlling the air mixing into the working oil. SOLUTION: In addition to a bearing side angle of lead path 85 and a bearing side angle of lag path 86, a feeding path 87 is formed in the bearing member 80. The bearing side angle of lead path 85 is communicated to the shaft side lead path 71 and the bearing side angle of lag path 86 is communicated to the shaft side angle of lag path 72. The feeding path 87 has a feeding port 871 to supply the oil to a cam shaft 2. Hereby, this oil film exhibits the seal function to block the clearance, since the extending oil film annularly is formed to the clearance of the cam shaft 2 and the cylinder head 82. Therefore, even if the negative pressure occurs to the shaft side angle of lag path 72, the exhaust air is prevented from being sucked by the shaft side angle of lag communicating port 721.
