摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, capable of performing camera shake correction and generating a high-resolution image from low-resolution pictures, by preventing increase of the circuit size and processing amounts required for motion detection between the images. SOLUTION: A motion detecting unit 20 of an image processing apparatus 1 reads the low-resolution images stored in a memory 10, and detects motion vectors between the images. A camera shake correction parameter calculating unit 30a calculates the correction global motion parameter using the motion vectors. A motion vector correcting unit 40 corrects the motion vectors obtained in the motion detecting unit 20, by using the correction global motion parameter. An image integration unit 50a combines (integrates) a target image and a group of reference images with sub-pixel accuracy, using the corrected motion vectors. An integrated image processing unit 60 generates equally-spaced pixels of a high-resolution image from unequally-spaced pixels of the integrated picture, and outputs a generated high-resolution image.
