PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a coil with which a portion having a peeled insulation coating can be made to be a terminal-corresponding portion with high positional accuracy, the terminal-corresponding portion can be easily crushed when it is crushed, and cracks or breakage can be prevented in bending the terminal corresponding portion; to provide a method of cutting a terminal-corresponding portion of the coil; to provide an apparatus for manufacturing the coil; and to provide an apparatus for cutting the terminal-corresponding portion of the coil. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for manufacturing the coil has a coil forming device 10, a cutting device 20, a crushing device 30, a terminal-corresponding portion profile processor 40, and a coil end solder plating unit 50. First, a step is executed for spirally winding a flat insulation-coated conductor wire to form a coil having a terminal-corresponding portion and a coil portion. Subsequently, a step of cutting one end surface and the other end surface of the thickness direction of the flat conductor wire to remove one part of the flat conductor wire together with the insulative coating is executed in the terminal-corresponding portion.
