PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary water spray gun device capable of eliminating a motor for rotation by defining fire distinguishing water as a driving source so as to reduce cost. SOLUTION: The rotary water spray gun device includes: vertical piping 1 which is connected to a main pipe (not shown in a figure) and whose pipe line direction is vertical; a water spray gun 2 rotatably connected to the vertical piping 1 around a vertical axis; and a rotary mechanism part 6 for rotating the water spray gun 2 around the vertical axis. The rotary mechanism part 6 includes: a power generation mechanism part 100 for generating reciprocative mobile force with a part of the fire extinguishing water as the driving source; a power conversion mechanism part 200 for converting the reciprocative mobile force generated by the power generation mechanism part 100 into rotary force around the axis to be orthogonally crossed with the pipe line direction of a vertical piping 3; and a power transmission mechanism part 300 for converting the rotary force converted by the power conversion mechanism part 200 into rotary force around the pipe line direction of the vertical piping 3, transmitting the rotary force to the vertical piping 3, and rotating the water spray gun 2.
