摘要 A biaxially oriented polypropylene film having a 1% secant modulus of from 500 MPa to 5000 MPa and a shrinkage greater than or equal to 9%. A method of producing a biaxially oriented film comprising providing a metallocene catalyzed polypropylene homopolymer, casting said polypropylene homopolymer into a film, stretching said film on a batch line, at a temperature of 120° C. to 140° C. or stretching said film in the machine direction on a continuous line at a temperature of from 90° C. to 160° C., and stretching said film in the transverse direction on a continuous line at a temperature of from 130° C. to 180° C.
