A portable terminal capable of surely operating a predetermined function at a set time is provided. The portable terminal comprises a battery for supplying power, a voltage detecting means for detecting the voltage of the battery, a function operation control means for operating the predetermined function at the set time, and an alarm means for notifying an alarm when the prediction value of the battery voltage at the set time, which is obtained by subtracting the estimation value of the voltage drop calculated according to the value of a consumption current until the set time from the value of the battery voltage detected by the voltage detecting means is smaller than the lowest value of the voltage required for operating the predetermined function by the function operation control means. |
