<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cutting of only the insulating tube at a specified length without damaging the surface of an internal covered-conductor, in a wire stripper which strips off a tip from a cutting part of the insulating tube, in a such manner that a synthetic-resin-made insulating tube, covering a plurality of the covered conductors in common, is clamped with a fixed receiving part and movable clamping piece of a first action arm, the insulating tube is cut with a fixed blade and movable blade of a second action arm, and the first/second action arms are displaced so as to separate the fixed blade and movable blade, in a state of cutting the insulating tube from the fixed receiving part and movable clamping piece. <P>SOLUTION: The fixed blade 17 and movable blade 18 are provided with guide parts 24, 25 that are brought into contact with the outer face of the insulating tube 14 during cutting by the fixed blade 17 and movable blade 18 so that cutting edges 17a, 18a of the fixed blade 17 and movable blade 18 protrude from the guide parts 24, 25 by a protrusion amount set that is set to the minimum thickness of the insulating tube 14 or smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
