<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit double images composed of first and second images in a display apparatus for providing the first image in a first observation area, and the second image in a second observation area. <P>SOLUTION: A first pixel row 10A for displaying the first image and a second pixel row 10B for displaying the second image are alternately arranged on a display panel 10 via a black matrix 11. Above those, a light insulating plate 30 including a light insulation section 31 and an aperture section 32 is arranged. K≤Q×D/(D+G) and P=G×V/D are satisfied, where V is a width of the first observation area A and the second observation area B, D is a distance between the first and second observation areas A and B, and the light insulating plate 30, G is a distance between the light insulating plate 30 and the display panel 10, P is a pitch of the first and second pixel arrays 10A and 10B, K is a width of the aperture section 32, and Q is a width of the black matrix 11.
