<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an imaging apparatus and program therefor in which automatic luminance adjustment suitable for the preference of a user can be easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the imaging apparatus which includes a BV table which is divided for each fixed range (k) in accordance with the value of a lightness BVs of a scene and in which a certain BVs value within each range (k) and a BVf value corresponding thereto are stored one by one for each range (k) as one set in one-to-one correspondence, and uses the BV table to adjust the display luminance of a finder by determining an appropriate BVf value from the lightness BVs value of a present scene. This BV table can be rewritten and when the user manually adjusts the finder display luminance, in place of the set of the range (k) to which a BVs value calculated during this manual adjustment belongs, one set in which the calculated BVs value is associated with the manually adjusted BVf value, is stored in the BV table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
