<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which is used while stuck on a polarizer to fablicate a polarizing plate of a liquid crystal display device (LCD), the optical film having performance such that even when the whole or part of a raw material of the optical film is a recycled raw material, the obtained optical film has the same film strength, coloration, etc., with an optical film manufactured using resin which is recycled; and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film manufacturing method employs a fusion flow expansion filming method, and the whole or part of the raw material of the optical film is the recycled raw material and passed through a refining stage before being reused. The refining stage is a removing stage for impurities using a solvent. The solvent is supercritical fluid and, especially, carbon dioxide is preferably used as the supercritical fluid, the critical temperature of the supercritical fluid being below the glass transition temperature of the recycled raw material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
