<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit size of an image encoding device by performing and repeating processing of a pixel block size of the minimum processing unit. <P>SOLUTION: The image encoding device repeats and performs various processing of intra prediction, excess in 4×4 pixel and 16×16 pixel units in a decoding processing unit 3, discrete cosine transformation, quantization, etc., and respective processing of excess in 8×8 pixel unit, quantization, inverse quantization, addition, and SATD (Sum of Absolute Transformed Difference) addition, in a 4×4 pixel unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
