PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus capable of providing thinness and light in weight while suppressing the deterioration of strength. SOLUTION: The optical disk apparatus is provided with a housing 3 formed in a flat shape by a lower case 5 and an upper case 7 layered over each other, a tray 9 provided in a freely insertable and extractable manner into/from an edge face of the housing 3 to be able to load an optical disk thereon, and a main substrate housed in the housing 3 to mount many electronic components thereon and attached to the lower case 5 so as to make the surface with each electronic component mounted faces the upper case 7, wherein a guide piece is provided on this side along the insertion/extraction direction of the tray 9 on the surface of the main substrate, the guide piece has an inclination directed to this side along the insertion/extraction direction, and the top part of the inclination is formed to be the highest in the respective electronic components.
