MICROLENS ARRAY SHEET AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens array sheet which has a light transmission aperture part accurately positioned on a surface on the opposite side from a base surface where microlenses are arranged and also has a conductive metallic light shield layer pattern formed, and its low-cost manufacturing method based upon conservation of resources and energy. SOLUTION: The microlens array sheet 1 has a plurality of microlenses 3a arranged in two dimensions on one surface 2a of a transparent base 2. On the other surface 2b of the transparent base 2 where the microlenses 3a are not formed, the metallic light shield layer patter pattern 8 comprising: a light shield layer pattern 6 of conductive metal having the light transmission aperture part 5 where light L from the microlens array surface 2a converges and a light shield part for the remaining part; and a metal plating layer 7 laminated on the light shield pattern 6 of conductive metal, is formed.
