摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a rotor in which positional shift of a segment magnet can be prevented before adhesives solidifies without reducing torque of a rotary machine, and to provide a motor for electric power steering. SOLUTION: In the process for manufacturing a rotor 20, segment magnets 24, 24 adjoining in the circumferential direction of a rotor shaft 21 repel with mutual magnetic force and held in a state spaced apart equally in the circumferential direction after the segment magnets 24 are arranged uniformly on the outer circumferential surface of the rotor shaft 21 before adhesives solidifies. Consequently, positional shift of the segment magnet 24 can be prevented before adhesives solidifies. Since the segment magnets 24 are arranged uniformly on the outer circumferential surface of the rotor shaft 21, motor characteristics of a motor 10 equipped with this rotor 20 are enhanced. Since the spacing between the segment magnets 24, 24 can be widened by narrowing the width dimension of the segment magnet 24, torque of the motor 10 is not reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
