PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensating attenuator for a high frequency band which has an excellent matching property and has a high electric power resistance. SOLUTION: The temperature compensating attenuator has such a structure that a 90°hybrid through terminal 2 and a coupled terminal 3 are connected by respective thermistors 7 (7a and 7b) of the same characteristics and the other terminals of the thermistors 7 are connected to ground potential and a 90°hybrid isolation terminal 4 is made to serve as an output terminal.
