PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that coupling noise occurs in an output signal output from an electric charge detection part of a solid-state image pickup device. SOLUTION: A CCD sensor is composed of: an output gate (7); a CCD part (1-1) which transfer electric charges to the output gate (7); a first transfer electrode (5) and a second transfer electrode (6) arranged between the output gate (7) and the CCD part (1-1) and to which clocks (ψ1L,ψ2L) with reversed phases are supplied. In the CCD sensor, clocks (ψ1,ψ2) supplied to the CCD part (1-1) and the clocks (ψ1L,ψ2L) supplied to the first transfer electrode (5) and the second transfer electrode (6) are output from different driver circuits.
