PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of simplifying data transmission between a transmission source of digital stream data and a data receiver via a network while ensuring the versatility and the protection of the copyright. SOLUTION: In a digital data decryption system 100, a decryption circuit apparatus 200 is interposed between a host system 300 and the network NT in the case of receiving transmission of digital contents from a transmission sender DS. The decryption circuit apparatus 200 decrypts encrypted digital contents, transmits the decrypted digital contents to the host system 300 via a video stream interface 402, and transmits the encrypted digital contents to the host system 300 via a two-way bus 400.
