摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotational shaft supporting structure of a tunnel excavator, achieved in long service life. SOLUTION: The rotational shaft supporting structure of a tunnel excavator comprises: a cutter head having a cutter for excavating earth and sand; a rotational shaft whose one end has the cutter head, and which is rotated together with the cutter head; and a rolling bearing incorporated in a fixing member so as to rotatably support the rotational shaft. The rolling bearing includes a retainer segment 15a retaining rollers and divided by division lines extending in a direction along an axis. The retainer segment 15a includes a plurality of columns 22a to 22d extending in a direction along the axis so as to form a first pocket 23a or the like and a second pocket 23b for storing the rollers. Outer diameter sides of the columns 22a to 22d are provided with outer-diameter-side roller retaining parts 24a to 24d, and the inner diameter side of the column 22b or the like is provided inner-diameter-side roller retaining part 25a or the like.
