PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which properties of malignant tumor can accurately be judged. SOLUTION: The method for judging the properties of the malignant tumor comprises a step of obtaining parameters, a first comparing step, a second comparing step and a judging step. In the step of obtaining the parameters, a first parameter obtained from the activity value and expression level of a first cyclin-dependent kinase (first CDK) contained in a tumor cell of the malignant tumor, a second parameter obtained from the activity value and expression level of a second cyclin-dependent kinase (second CDK) contained in the tumor cell, a third parameter obtained on the basis of the first parameter and the second parameter and a fourth parameter obtained from the expression level of the cyclin in the tumor cell are obtained. In the first comparing step, the third parameter is compared with a first threshold value. In the second comparing step, the fourth parameter is compared with a second threshold value.
