A mutual inductance contactless starter for a single-phase AC motor is mainly applied to the starting of a compressor motor with starting capacitor, meanwhile it can also be applied to the starting of a normal single phase AC motor. It includes a current inductor L including two primary windings and a secondary winding, a trigger capacitor C o, a triac T, and a PTC thermistor Rt. Through the employment of current signal relating to the sampling of the current inductor, the present invention could effectively control the heat loss of the current sampling system, whose power loss may be as low as milliwatt level, that is "zero power loss" single-phase AC motor starter, so that the energy saving effciency is improved significantly. Meanwhile, the circuit is simple, and the quantity of the components is few which results in reliability, so that the reliability of the motor starting system is improved while the starting function of the motor is maintained. |
