<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide-based dielectric ceramic which has a crystal structure excellent in dielectric characteristics and is obtained by a combustion synthesis method, and a method of producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic contains at least Li, Ca, Ti, O, Nd and Sm as constituent elements and is obtained by compounding the respective powders of reaction raw materials at least comprising a Ti powder having 0.01 to 2 m<SP>2</SP>/g specific surface area, an ionically bonding material serving as an oxygen supply source and metal oxides and carbonates serving as sources of the constituent elements in a prescribed ratio and carrying out a combustion synthesis method at an adiabatic flame temperature of ≥1,500°C. The first, second, third, fourth and fifth diffraction peaks, obtained by an X-ray diffraction method, appear in 2θ ranges of ±0.5° from 32.8°, 47.2°, 59.0°, 40.5° and 69.3°, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
