PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions and a method for producing fuel-resistant liquid polythioether polymers with good low temperature flexibility, not having been realized in conventional technique ranges.

SOLUTION: The polythioether polymer exhibits excellent low temperature flexibility and excellent fuel oil resistance, when cured. The method for producing the polymer is characterized by reacting an oxidized diene (divinyl ether) with a polythioether substantially excluding condensed cyclic by-products releasing malodors.
