PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for easily and rapidly measuring a carbon dioxide gas concentration in a solution. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument for measuring a carbon dioxide gas concentration in a solution comprises a resin-made sealed vessel with a lid, a weighting tool; a gas phase carbon dioxide gas measuring means; and a means for converting the carbon dioxide gas concentration in the solution from the carbon dioxide gas concentration in gas phase. A measuring cylinder is preferably used as the weighting tool. The sealed vessel preferably has a circular vessel part to be connected with the lid of the sealed vessel having a diameter larger than the diameter than a detecting tube and smaller than 30 mm, and is preferably made of resin.
