PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new inspection method of an optical fiber sensor and its inspection device, having temperature compensation function for preventing wrong detection as an external force, even if the refractive index changes due to the fluctuations in the ambient temperature of an FBG sensor. SOLUTION: A spectrum for each wavelength of reflected light reflected by each Bragg grating sensor is received, a primary detection spectrum where the absolute value of the difference between the wavelength of each received spectrum and the corresponding reference resonance reflection wavelength exceeds a prescribed value is detected, a resonance reflected wavelength moving average value of the wavelength of the spectrum, reflected and detected successively by the Bragg grating sensor, corresponding to the primary detection spectrum until the primary detection spectrum is detected, is calculated, and a secondary detection spectrum where the absolute value of the difference between the resonance reflected wavelength moving average value and the wavelength of the primary detection spectrum exceeds a prescribed value are detected.
