PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stencil printing equipment which can reduce power consumption and attain energy economization. SOLUTION: This stencil printing equipment 1 has a plate cylinder 9, a pressing member 10, a rocking means 22 for rocking the pressing member 10 and a pressing member retaining means 23 for retaining the pressing member 10 at a position separated from the plate cylinder 9 in a state that the rocking means 22 comprises a cam 9b with a large diametral part 9e and a small diametral part 9f, a cam follower 20 making the cam 9b contact with an arm member 17 and rotatably supporting the pressing member 10 and the cam follower 20, an engaging arm 25 engageable with the arm member 17 in a state that the pressing member retaining means 23 keeps the pressing member 10 at its position separated from the plate cylinder 9 and an arm displacing means 26 for displacing the engaging arm 25 to a non-engaging position during printing, the arm displacing means 26 is put into action at each contact between the large diametral part 9e and the cam follower 20 so as to inhibit engagement between the arm member 17 and the engaging arm 25 in order to obtain a constitution for displacing the engaging arm 25 to the non-engaging position following the rotation of the plate cylinder 9.
